VERY low key. Nice, actually.

photocranking with fsj
SO - fakesteve has a little thing on his blog that allows you to put captions, word bubbles, etc on posted photos. It's called Photocrank. (their site here.)
here's one I made on his site, that he pulled out, and posted separately.
Word.
UPDATE: According to FSJ himself, I'm the "Art Director" for fakesteve.blogspot.com. How cool is THAT?!?!

FSJ linked to this from his site.
I think I threw up a little bit in my mouth.

chicks at the mall
They were TOTALLY into me.
I think they wanted a threesome, but I had stuff to do.
Besides, my S.O. might have gotten irritated.
One of them will probably call me.
I'm hot.

surveillance
OK - so NOW, my blog is tracking hits.
I need 3 more to get to 100!
According to the log - I've had people from France, Germany, and Hawaii look at this.
Anyone care to comment with their location?
(Of course, only people from Wisconsin will comment.)
OR - someone will SAY they're from somewhere - when in actuality, it'll just be my stalker from the KwikTrip down the block.
(GOD - I WISH I had a stalker!)

It's not just a hondo...
Ben Franklin had a fantastic quote.
"3 may keep a secret, if 2 are dead."
Yeah - that's pretty true. Especially in the day of email, text messages, blogs, and twittering. (I'm a big guy - I don't "twitter.")
So - people know now, the secret is OUT, the cat's out of the bag, huh? Yeah - I guess it is.
The funny thing about that, is that I never really wanted the cat IN the bag.
I dig it. I'm happy. I'm fantastic.
I feel like yelling it from the "stage."

More FSJ Art
My family seems to think that I have a man-crush on Fake Steve Jobs.
I just like the fact that he gives me an outlet for my photoshop habit. :)

iChatting with Fascists
Turns out that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has a freaking blog. (And I bet he gets more hits than I do.)
That silly fact made me think of him using a webcam to chat with Hugo Chavez. Hysterical.

If you don't read the Secret Diary of Steve Jobs - you really need to.
Here's just a smattering of some of the (unpaid - ha) work I've done for Fake Steve's Blog:

working for the weekend...
SO - it's Friday night - and as always - I'm Mr. Mom. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining in the least. It's a statement of fact.
Friday nights, I have my son - and my ex goes out. Saturday nights, she has said son, and I go out. It's the delicate balance in my little universe. :)
This weekend is going to be my busiest in a LONG time. I'm actually already dreading work on Monday.
Tomorrow, Jennifer and her daughter, and me and my son are going to see "Walking With The Dinosaurs." It should be completely amazing. My boss took his Grandchild to it this afternoon, and was just floored at the spectacle. I was floored that he took a Friday off.
After that - the children will be dropped off at their OTHER parents' homes, and Jen and I will attempt to get some dinner, and hopefully grab a drink with my best friend. He turns 37 tomorrow.
Sunday, we're heading up to the (almost literally) Frozen Tundra® of Lambeau Field© to see the Packers take on the Raiders.
Tailgating beforehand is of course, a necessity.
Blog pics to come whilst the merriment ensues.

Omaha Shootings
A friend of mine who lives in Nebraska was working at the mall while everything with the shooting was happening.
This is posted with her permission:
+++++
Dec 5, 2007 8:36 PM
I was there. It was awful.
Little old ladies were running (RUNNING!) for their lives.
After I shut my gate to my store... and hid in the shelter of the bathroom... I shook from head to toe and was literally scared to death... and then as I peeped my head out... I saw ATF and FBI and Omaha PD with MACHINE GUNS and they were using my store as protection as they look for the 'perp'. (he was still at large)
I grabbed my stuff in haste and fled the store with FBI agents with SHIELDS.
I was petrified and saddened because I knew by watching the news in my store that there were already TWO confirmed dead.
They shuttled us to a secluded hallway... where after they completely secured JCPENNEY, they shuttled us in to there... my friend, Sam, and I cut in front of a line of almost 200 people (mostly mall employees) and gave a statement and were then permitted to leave.
As we left the mall... I saw more police vehicles and ATF agents than I've ever seen in my life and every single one would stop us and question us and make sure (which is kind of relief considering the situation).
Once we were finally outside the confines of Westroads.... I couldn't help but feel somber and completely saddened by all that I had witnessed.
Like the lady covered in blood from the gunshot wounds of her now deceased husband.
and why? because some poor kid apparently didn't get hugged enough and decided he wanted to "go out in style".
Guess what ASShole... Style is not causing grief to everyone and inflicting fear in the American public.
You were selfish and awful.
You deserve to rot in hell.
ok. i'm at the bar right now and sad and it's taking everything not to cry....... at the loss that Omaha has suffered.
